Ensures the facility and equipment are operating and well maintained to produce products at a high level of quality, at the most efficient cost, in a timely manner.
Identifies, plans, and oversees all maintenance and facilities work, including but not limited to - repairs, preventative maintenance, and site improvements.
Ensures effective communication across functions and with employees, vendors, and business partners.
Communicates to affected departments any work impacts for maintenance dept.

Plans, oversees, and verifies all equipment maintenance work, both scheduled and unscheduled, including final work completion and documentation.
Identifies, plans, schedules and resources site improvements and presents to leadership team.
Oversees and works with project / manufacturing engineering for installation, setup, and maintenance of CMMS system.
Ensures all department maintenance and project data is entered and maintained for historical review and planning.
Ensures all dept.
employees are trained and utilizing maintenance software as appropriate.
Assigns and oversees department employees, and contractor activities, to meet department goals and responsibilities.
Implements safety measures for accident prevention through safety meetings and works cross-departmentally to aide in facility safety.
Identifies, plans, and schedules acquisition of all department equipment, tools, and materials.
Ensures all materials are stored and maintained in accordance with federal and state health and safety requirements.
Reviews, codes, and approves material, parts, and maintenance invoices for accounts payable.
Trains and educates team members on equipment repairs and delegates responsibilities.
Ensures parts and materials are ordered as needed to ensure equipment inventory of critical spare parts.
Troubleshoots complex problems with equipment where the repair is not immediately visible.
Assists with the development of skills and training which may include apprenticeships, cross-training and vendor provided training opportunities.
Responsible for implementing and utilizing a CMMS including preventative and corrective work orders, repair histories, parts inventory and key reports related to machine center costs, downtime, and completion of PM's.
Drives resolution of highest impact issues with a strong sense of urgency and integrity.
Responsible for the creation and delivery of all KPI and objectives for the maintenance department Develops, maintains, and continuously improves on all standard operating procedures as they relate to our maintenance programs to meet company and customer requirements.
Evaluates the performance of direct reports against their job requirements and performance goals.
Manages expense projects to meet scope, budget, and timeline.
Addresses issues relating to quality problems that may arise from production equipment problems.
Analyzes the causes of all breakdowns and recommends technical improvements.
Analyzes and documents processes and problems, developing solutions to enhance equipment efficiencies.
Ensures maintenance and engineering are reviewing EHS and other applicable programs - Lock out / tag out, SDS sheets for chemicals and how to properly store, etc.
Owns and drives the safety of all maintenance team members.
Leads or coordinates with product design on determining, purchasing, and onboarding new equipment.
SKILLS &
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of maintenance supervision / leadership experience.
Coursework or certification in electronic technology OR 3 years of industrial maintenance experience specializing in electronic / controls technology (troubleshooting and repairing automated equipment).
Thorough knowledge of plant/production equipment and operation and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Solid computer skills including MS Office Suite and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is preferred.
Must be able to read and understand technical drawings (blueprints, electronic / mechanical schematics) to be able to repair / maintain equipment.
Safety focused and knowledge of OSHA and state regulations.
Must be able to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work various shifts / days / nights as needed.
Must have proven experience in troubleshooting and ensuing all production and equipment breakdowns are repaired in a timely and effective manner.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field preferred.
Ex.
Equivalent experience in industrial maintenance, etc.
COMPENSATION:
Annual salary is based on experience.
